Soaring, tumbling and free-wheeling into you cuz of Shannon at 11:10 AM -------------------- Wednesday, January 29, 2003WEB SURFING SOUNDTRACK SELECTION OF THE DAY: "I Shall Believe" -Sheryl CrowWell, I'm a big wanky loser who hasn't updated my blog in two months... I think, just for that, I'm gonna hve to do some major advertising and a complete design overhaul to make up for it. But yes, I will start updating more often now, it's just been a busy busy BUSY (and stressful) two months... but I needed to write now, because, even three days after the eppie, I'm still in "Alias" shock. What's "Alias," you might be asking? Well, if you are, woe is you. Because it's only the most incredable show ever to hit the airwaves. I'm in love with it. And the Superbowl episode? It was amazing. My Review of "Phase One" or JJ Abrams is Insane... a Good Insane SYDNEY AND VAUGHN KISSED!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! *insert high pitched scream* It was such a beautiful moment... when all across America, S/V Shippers wailed happily in unison, tears streaming down their faces as they thanked JJ Abrams for this wonderful moment (albit without a good song to go with it, but I suppose that music was pretty...). It was... incredable. One of the most incredable TV moments of my life. Meanwhile, I miss Francie. I miss her even though when the episode ended she had only been dead for about a minute. Oh JJ, why didn't you just make Francie evil like everyone thought you might? Instead of creating a clone to kill her... and pobre Will, who, even though I have a strong hatred toward him for the indescressions of last season, deserved to be happy with Francie (or anyone except Sydney). I've been reading all over the net about Francie and Will shippers crying out in agony... that just wasn't a nice thing to do. After they kissed for the first time even! And what about us who just like Francie because she represted Syd's normal life? Who is Syd going to tell all about that wonderful kiss? Will? Her MOM?! No, Syd is alone in the normal world now... but at least she has her Vaughn. And SD-6 is gone! For the whole show, we were all like, "No no, the allience isn't going to get taken down!" And then, *GASP* gone! All gone! I kinda miss it. Just like I miss Francie, and some of the sexual tension between S and V (okay, I don't really miss that...). All in all, the message here is that you should watch "Alias." Because where are you gonna get thrills like this? American Idol? No no, only one place... the CIA undergound of LA! Welcome to a turning point, Alias fans! It's gonna be one hell of a ride! They play it at every dance because we always force them to, and man, you have not seen a student body skank until you've seen them skank to this song. The ska boys especially... we all relate to this silly song I think, because we all live out each day in our own boring town. "A boring life, in a boring town, with the same old crowd..." Yep, that's us. Anyone not farmilar with the ska scene, download this song. It ranks up there among my fave ska songs with "The Impression That I Get" by the Bosstones and "Take On Me" by Reel Big Fish. You just gotta love ska.
